Accessibility Statement

Case IQ cares about all our customers and is committed to providing an application that is as accessible as possible to everyone. We are committed to complying with the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, up to level AA (WCAP-2.2 AA) to meet or exceed the standards of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (in the U.S.), the Accessible Canada Act and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (in Canada). 

We continually work to ensure accessibility in our design and development processes. To evaluate and enhance accessibility we use various tools and checklists, including but not limited to: 

All users have access to the Case IQ Accessible theme that can be applied to their application through their User Profile page.  

Case IQ can provide the most recent VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) in the standard or Section 508 format report upon request. This report details the compliance of our application to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, using a format conforming to the requirements of the Industrial Training Institute’s Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (ITI VPAT®) Version 2.4. 

Our efforts to maintain accessibility and usability are ongoing so you may experience some pages or elements that are not fully accessible. Please see below for a list of current limitations and our remediation status:  

Info and Relationships

  • User Multiple Input Field: The screen reader announces a “Collapsed” button without visual indication. (In progress) 
  • List Page Labels: The screen reader announces all labels as “Clickable,” despite being text elements. Universal issue exists with all labels. (In Progress) 
  • Email Multiple Input Field: The screen reader announces a “Collapsed” button without visual indication. (In progress) 
  • Input Fields on Lists, Forms, Emails, Files, and To-Dos Pages: Screen reader does not read full information. (Acknowledged) 
  • Profile Page Input Fields: The screen reader announces fields (Created date and Last updated date) as "clickable All menu button collapsed submenu," without specifying the label names of the focused input fields. All input fields are read with the same description. (Acknowledged) 
  • Views Page: The screen reader announces fields (Case Owner, Case Type, and Create Date) as "clickable All menu button collapsed subMenu," without specifying the label names of the focused input fields. All input fields are read with the same description. (Acknowledged) 
  • List Page Headers: The screen reader announces header rows as clickable, though they are text elements. (Acknowledged)  
  • Calendar Page: The screen reader does not announce selected month after using 'previous month' or 'next month' buttons. (In progress) 
  • ‘Send to’ and ‘CC’ fields on the Email Form Page: The screen reader announces a “Collapsed” button without visual indication. (In progress) 
  • Calendar Pop-Up in the Date Input Field: The screen reader fails to provide auditory feedback when navigating between dates and when a date has been selected. Universal Issue exist with all Calendar pop-ups. (Acknowledged) 

Use of Colour

  • Links: Links are not distinguishable without relying on colour. Universal issue with all links. (In progress) 

Keyboard Navigation

  • Calendar Pop-Up in the Date Input Field: The calendar pop-up on the Add Profile page is not accessible via keyboard. Universal Issue exist with all Calendar pop-ups. (Acknowledged) 
  • Formatting Buttons in Rich Text Editor Field: Buttons are not accessible via keyboard. Universal issue exists for with all formatting icons present in the rich text editor input fields. (In progress) 
  • Grid Column Entries: Keyboard navigation does not provide access to all column entries in data tables. Universal Issue exist with all data tables. (In progress)  
  • ‘Save Draft' and 'Send' buttons: Buttons are not accessible via keyboard on the Calendar page’s appointment modal. (In progress) 

Page Titles

  • Change Password Page: Page does not have title specified in browser tab. (In progress) 

Focus Order

  • Modal Focus: Focus does not return to the original button after closing modals. (Acknowledged) 
  • Advanced Search Dropdown on Home Page: Focus moves outside the dropdown while still open. (In progress)  
  • More Options Button: Focus moves outside the expanded dropdown on all “More Options” buttons. Universal issue with all ‘More Options’ buttons. (In progress) 
  • Cases Page: Incorrect focus order within the Cases table. (Acknowledged)  
  • Views Page Header Dropdown: Focus moves outside the expanded Views dropdown while still open. (Acknowledged) 

Name, Role, Value

  • Advanced Search Button on Mobile: Button lacks discernible text. (In progress) 
  • Hamburger Menu on Mobile: Button lacks discernible text. (In progress) 

Contrast

  • Form Elements: Some form elements have a contrast ratio below 4.5:1. (In progress) 
  • ‘Currently Editing Defaults’ Button: Button has a contrast ratio of 2.06 when editing default grid column configuration. Universal issue on all grids. (In progress)  
  • Inactive tabs on Workflows Page: On the Workflow creation page in settings, the inactive tabs have a low color contrast ratio. (In progress) 
  • Settings Dropdown Button: The dropdown menu button has insufficient contrast between the text and background colors. (In progress) 

Focus Visible

  • Settings Page Tabs: Keyboard focus is not visible on Tabs. (Acknowledged) 
  • User Role Input Field: Keyboard focus is not visible in the dropdown for the ‘User Role’ input field on 'User Profile' page. Universal issues in the drop-downs of all input fields in Settings. (Acknowledged) 

Target Size  

  • Grid Pagination Buttons: Clickable area for buttons is under 24px x 24px. Universal issue exists on all grids. (Acknowledged) 

Accessible Authentication

  • Password Field: No option to mask and unmask the password input on the ‘Login’ and ‘Change Password’ pages. (In progress)
