Set a Flag to a Case
Depending on the configuration of your application, you may be able to use flags to categorize cases. Custom flags can be created and managed by your System Administrator (see Flags), so you can organize cases or arrange them in tiers. This article uses a "High Priority" flag as an example to show you how to set and unset a flag, but your System Administrator can use any text for their flag, so it will likely contain different text.
- On a case's page, Click the Options () button.
- The custom flags option for your application will be located under the workflows section in the options menu. The flag option will read “Set [flag name]”, for example “Set High Priority”. Click the “Set [flag name]” option.
- The custom flag will appear beside the case number, with the text and background color set by your System Administrator.
To remove the flag from the case, select the “Unset [flag name]” option in the options menu.
