Manage Panel Views
In Case IQ, you can preview a case from the Cases Grid or Views page, allowing investigators to quickly access case information without navigating to a new page. The case preview is displayed in the pinned fields panel shown in the screenshot below. Administrators can configure the pinned fields in this panel for your application, so investigators see relevant information for your case management processes.

To manage the pinned fields in your application:
1. Navigate to Settings > Forms > Panel Views. Then, click Pinned Fields in the Panel Views grid.

2. You will now see the fields currently in your Pinned Fields panel. Click the Edit button.

3. The Pinned Fields panel view will now be editable.
- To add a field to the Pinned Fields panel, click the field in the Add Fields section. You can use the "Search fields..." box to help find a specific case field. You can add up to 20 fields to the Pinned Fields panel.

- To remove a field, click the "X" beside the field in the Pinned Fields panel. You cannot remove the "Case Owner" and "Case Type" fields from the Pinned Fields panel.

- To change the order of the fields, click and drag a field in the Pinned Fields panel.

4. When you are done making changes to the Pinned Fields panel, click the Save button.

5. Your changes will now be available when users preview a case.
FAQ
What kinds of information can I add to the Pinned Fields panel view?
You can pin any case field. This includes both Case IQ standard fields (also called "static fields") and fields added to your application via the Form Builder (called "dynamic fields"). You can only pin fields to the panel view, meaning you cannot pin tabs, sections, field groups, or entity grids. However, you can pin the fields inside a section, tab, or field group. For example, while you cannot pin a data form section to the panel view, you can pin the fields inside the data form section.
How many fields can I pin?
You can have up to 20 fields in the Pinned Fields panel view. This total includes the "Case Owner" and "Case Type" fields, which are locked to the Pinned Fields panel.
